From authentic sounding electric pianos to current synth sounds. In comparing the two, the Fantom cannot match the Motif sound against sound. Amazingly where the Fatom really falls short is electronic sounds. Which is surprising since the Fantom is so gearded towards electronic styles of music.

The one downside of the Motif is that it's operating system does take some time to learn. The Fantom has a few more features but in my opinion the Motif has the best and most versital soundset available.
